Tom was presented with his first cap by Nasser Hussain at the Saxton Oval on Tuesday before opening the batting in England's run chase. Tom scored a quick 18 off 10 balls including a six and two fours, before falling to Blair Tickner.
Hot on the heels of his selection for Welsh Fire in the inaugural Hundred competition, Tom will also make his debut this winter for Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash. Tom is also signed to play for Qalanders this November in Abu Dhabi's T10 competition.
Making his debut for Barnt Green's first team at the age of 14, Tom (20) went on to captain the England Under 19 side and made his T20 debut for Somerset in 2017. In this year's T20 Blast, Tom scored 591 runs at an average of 39.40.
A huge congratulations Tom from all of us.
